Marine Conservation

Many beaches in Hong Kong are not supervised by any government department or organisation. To keep them clean, we need everyone's effort in volunteering in beach cleaning action, and, of course, to leave no trash in nature. We believe by using our own hands to clean up the environment, we can remind ourselves, and people around us, to produce less rubbish in our daily life.

Biodiversity Education

With educational training, eco-tour and other event, we hope to provide a chance for everyone to take part in conserving the environment. With various habitats and high biodiversity, Lamma Island is a perfect place for participants to enjoy and explore the nature while learning how to protect it.

WE-RE-CYCLE Lamma

“WE-RE-CYCLE Lamma” is a collaborative Biodiversity Education Programme between Life Jungle Association and Lamma Island (South) Rural Committee. We organized a series of activities in 2018, to introduce participants to the unknown side of Lamma Island, where flourishing flora and fauna species are hidden inside!

Up-cycling

Even with the effort of cutting the source of pollution, there are still rubbish that are already made or unavoidable. Therefore, we start doing upcycling work, hoping to give objects new purposes.

Art & culture

Lamma Island is a unique place with preserved fishery culture and captivating views of nature. It is our responsibility to keep this peaceful Island lively and attractive to tourist. We make our efforts to hold mural painting and other events related to local culture and festive. Hoping to give colour to the island.
