About the Event
Global warming, ocean and air pollution, sustainable develop- ment and environmental protection are issues of global concern nowadays. In order to cultivate a group of teenagers with a sense of mission, this Programme enables teenagers to better understand with high-end scientific research resources, offer a platform for enhance professional skills and marine science knowledge, devote to the development of fisheries and marine environmental protection and contribute to building a better environment for the future.
- Improve personal skills and personal competency
- Establish positive thinking and interpersonal network
- Strengthen problem-solving and communication skills
Program targets: Teens, ages between 16 to 25, interested in a career in marine science
Enrollment Period: September 18 – October 6, 2023
How to apply: Applicants use the topic "Opinions and Thoughts on Sustainable Ocean Development" and share your opinions and ideas in one of the following ways:
- A short essay in Chinese or English of about 500 words
- Short films under 1 minute
- Creative cartoons, paintings or other creative expressions
